Designed for screening nucleic acid libraries in high volume labs using robotics. These space-saving, 384-well plates occupy the same space as standard 96-well plates. Each well has a working volume of 20-50 µl and a modified C bottom with curved edges and a flat, optical bottom. Lid protects clones from contamination while providing adequate aeration for culture growth. Plate may be sealed with GeNunc® tape (170-430-66 or 170-430-68) or with sterile MicroWell® Plate Tape. Compatible with the following robotic systems: Tecan Trak, Beckman Biomek, Zymark, Orca and Hybaid.
